Peeling nails from soy polish remover?

My co-blogger has been testing a soy based polish remover (the only one either of us has ever tried) and now her nails are peeling. She has never had problems with nails peeling before.

Has anyone else ever experienced that with soy polish removers?

eek! that's a shame! i haven't heard of a soy polish remover so i am no help i'm afraid but hopefully somebody can help soon
