Photos from the last couple of weekends

Here are a few from a hike last weekend on Gabrielino Trail in the Angeles National Forest.

And some more from a road trip up Pacific Coast Highway a couple of weekends ago. We decided to take Andy's new car for a spin and ended up staying the night in Cambria. We went to Hearst Castle the next morning, kept driving up PCH until we hit San Francisco, had dinner and headed back home.

First stop was Pismo Beach, where it's absolutely MANDATORY to get clam chowder and fish & chips at the Splash Cafe (I crave this stuff for months between road trips!)

Here are a couple of shots at Hearst Castle (not too many)

Elephant seals... I think it was their molting season.

OMG!! holy cow!

are those real pics or postcards! how amazing... breathtaking! i don't think i've ever been intrigued by photos like i have been just now.. it could be the gloomy weather we're having here??
