Photoshoot I worked on: Winged Liner & Black Lips

Just some pics I got back from a photoshoot I worked on last week! I wanted to do an edgy high fashion type of look and the model wanted lots of colour splashed all over the face, inspired from a shoot they did in Americas next top model, so I combined the two!

Let me know what you think! :)

Products used:

Chanel pro lumiere - 10
Chanel bronze universal
Mac all over gloss - on cheekbones, under brow etc.
Mineralize skinfinish light medium
Illamasqua brow cake: Motto & thunder
Bobbi brown gel liner - black
Opulash
Feline kohl power pencil (lip liner)
OCC lip tar - tarred
Immamasqua intense lip gloss - repulse

Then I bumped it up using:
Mac Neo Orange pigment, chrome yellow eyeshadow (crushed), and 3D Gold glitter!

Photographer: Tim Cully

Let me know what you think!
:) xx

You are really talented! I love what you came up with from your inspirations. Who did the hair? That is gorgeous as well.

my opinion for what it's worth:
the first look is a look,
the others aren't working -it's too much
my artsy husband says: you are relying to heavily in colouring the face rather than accenting the lines in the face 'line work'.

wanting to give thoughtful feedback .....

Thanks for your feedback, nice to hear it from a different point of view.
I didn't actually contour the skin. There was no specific placement with the powders and glitter, I just dropped them from above to give a more effortless kind of look. They just may have been more drawn to settle in the contours of the face. Thanks though! :)

I don`t think that this is too much, especially because you have clean look - no colors, just black! I like the last one most!

Love both before and after.. It's a shame I can't go to work with a look like this, the boys would look at me funny :p
I love that it's orange and black without the hallowe'en feel, gorgeous!
