Picking A Cream Colour Base

Okay, I want a cream colour base to help extend my blush. I saw a youtube video that suggested purchasing a base that was similar to my skin tone. But, when I got to my local MAC counter the MA told me that the cream colour base is suppose to be a similar shade to the blush. Both make sense but I don't want to end up with three different colour bases trying to match them to my blush (especially if I don't need them). So any suggestions?

Honestly, I would go for something a bit more on the pink side. That way, not only will it extend the wear of your powder blush, but it will also already give you a bit of a flush. You could try Fabulush CCB.

Or you could try a Blushcreme, like Ladyblush. I personally don't apply too much cream blush on, and especially after I finish powdering my face, most of the colour has been toned down to just a slight flush, so any blush colour on top will still look like the colour in the pan.
