I love this shade but when I apply it, I find dustings of it all under and around my eyes. I've tried tapping the excess off but then I don't seem to get as much color pay off. I know there's a way of applying it wet, like with pigments, but how do I do that without depotting it or ruining it?

You can pack the e/s on your brush (enough for both eyes) and spray Fix + or another water based product on it. Should stop the fallout

i always have a problem with fallout, but i've just started doing my eyes first then cleaning under my eyes with a little makeup remover...it's a pain in the but sometimes but it gets rid of all the fallout and i don't have to worry about walking around looking like i have a black eye if i'm wearing dark colors...

I always apply an eyeshadow base (MAC Prep+Prime or Benefit f.y..eye) first, then the shadow sticks better and there is less fallout. I use 239 and it works well.
You can apply some more powder under your eyes and remove it with the fallout from the e/s with a fan brush like the 184.

Another way of using it wet it to just scape a tiny bit out with a butter or palette knife onto the back of your hand (or...something, haha). Then you can mix it with a little bit of mixing medium (I make my own at home with 3 parts water and one part glycerin). And you're good to go!

also try packing it or rather patting it onto the lid instead of sway swiping it. that will also help with the fallout

That's what I thought I was doing but I could've also been doing a little of both (patting and swiping). Tell me, are you suppose to pull the outer corner of you eyelid taut because, and I'm sure it's because of the primer/base I'm using, I have trouble getting it into those little crevices/wrinkles right above my lashes. Kwim?
