plum l/s! how to choose? eeeeek

i love this look, and want to recreate the lip stick, but don't know where i should start because MAC has so many plum/wine variations! i really like lustre l/s because they are sheer and buildable, but i don't care too much for glitter or pearl......anyone have any suggestions?

btw, the pic shows the l/s as a little darker

This reminds me of MAC's Amorous lipstick. Another one to check out would be Diva. It looks like it was applied heaviest in the center and blended out for a stained look.

I saw some face charts for photo shoots (they had a book showing the actual magazine page/photo with an accompanying face chart) in the MAC Pro store in NYC, and I noticed that they would put really dark shades in the inside of the lip and do a lighter shade towards the edges. For this look it would be something like Cyber or Dark Side on the inner lip and Amorous at the edges. This is pretty impractical for everyday purposes, but I thought it was neat to know that techniques like that are used!
