Powerpoint unsafe for the waterline?

On another thread in recs it was mentioned that the powerpoint pencils were not safe for use on the waterline. Is this true?
I hope not, engraved was going to be my next purchase in the journey to find my HG black eyeliner.

Pretty much any doctor or mac will say no product is safe for the waterline. However i've been using graphblack and purple dash forever on my waterline with no problems.

Please, please don't line your waterline. I used to do it, even though I had heard the warnings... and then I gave myself a corneal ulcer :-( Pleeeeease don't!

It is not recommended to line the waterline and you do put yourslef at risk when you do it. MAC tells you that none of them are waterline sfae because they do not want to be held liable if you get hurt. I only line the waterline for special occasions myself, but most pencils should not present much of a problem unless you have sensitive eyes.
