Pressed powder?

Anyone want to tell me exactly what the purpose of pressed powder is? Just curious to see if I'm using it to it's full potential. Thanks.

Pressed Powder is the travel version of Loose Powder.

You keep the loose powder on your makeup counter at home, and give a dusting after putting on all your face makeup.

You keep a pressed powder in your carrying item, so that should you get oily again during the day, you have something that can take care of it. Because it not very wise to take a loose powder pot with you now is it? Hahaha...

Of course, you can always use blot papers, which i prefer.

Lol, yeah loose powder + travelling = BADNESS!! Anyway, thanks for the tip. I was using it for a few other things, but that sounds useful.

I like pressed powder to even out my skin tone - I actually prefer it to loose powder.
I suppose I use it more like a foundation

I can only afford to have on so i guess i should go with the pressed Mac sheer powder?

There are a bunch of purposes that women use the pressed powder for:

1)Keep the oilies away
2)Even out the skin tone
3)Fix the makeup
4)Create a base for eyeshadow,blush etc

I've used it for all 4 purposes!When I had pimples,spots etc I used it for covering them as well,now I don't need that!

There's no right or wrong way to use pressed powder! 8)
