Purple Mascara

Can anyone show me a pic of someone making purple mascara work? I was tempted to buy DiorShow in Plum

but I'm not sure I've ever seen purple mascara look good. I love the thought of purple lashes but I'm not 100% convinced yet!

and yes the Estee Lauder one is in amethyst, although I think they might be LE, should still be able to get hold of one.

i like badgal plum, when it's on it's very subtle. it's definately not the in your face kind of purple.

I think anyone can make colored mascara work. It just depends on your preference. I suggest wearing a purple eyeliner and making a cat eye line. Then follow up with the mascara.

I've been using this purple mascara by Apple (a Mexican brand) in "Morado." It's a mix between violet and electric purple. I get it from this lady on ebay. Really cheap and the color is very vibrant . I have to warn you that it is a bit waterproof so a good eye makeup remover is needed (I use pure jojoba oil):

unfortunately i do not have a pic but i love Almay's purple amethyst mascara. it is not a super bright purple but it really makes brown eyes look pretty.
