Purples and fake lashes- what a pain in the @$$

Incredible Look Darlin'! You know how to throw down some Purple shadows!

I'm glad Brittni pointed out the glue-strip-on-separate-surface-to-dip-lash trick. It works well. Allows perfect amount of glue application...not too much, not too little and neat!

Be honest with us, though! You don't really have to wear falsies do you?
I can tell you have some MEGA lashes of your very own! That's why it appears as though the falsies are of a "fishnet" design, they're competing with your natural ones!

O.K. so check this out - I ran into a MA the other day who was actually wearing 3 pairs...yes three pairs of lashes at once. The top pair was the "Good Girl" Lashes. I believe the bottom ones were #2 & #3. She looked impossible! I was sooooo JEALOUS! According to her, she just put all 3 together at once and then applied them to the lash line as one set! It looked vicious!

Light a candle for me I'm gonna try it!

They actually looked like the bad girls- that's why I got them. They had at Target if you're interested

It was an accidental mishap actually

It is nice vice p/p with nocturnelle on top with deckchair on top of that. You could probably achieve that by putting tan pig. or a gold pig. or even jardin aires- they would all look pretty.

The key is using a pigment as it packs on well over the dark base.

I think the falsies look gorgeous (the entire look is!). I absolutely adore your FOTDs.

The best trick I have is wrapping the lashes around my finger (the part that you glue wrapped around your finger) -- it gets them to curve when they warm up and better contour to your eye. Then I put a dot of dark lash glue on the barrel part of a Qtip, and then dragging the lash through it really gently and then blowing on it. Between those two steps, you end up with a perfectly curved lash that's easy to stick on without too much glue.

Those two steps seem to get the lash to stick to your lid without sticking to your lashes and minimizes any lash pull out.

i think they looked divine. if you try falsies again try using a light oil or an oily makeup remover and apply it to the area then lightly, lightly pull. i hope this helps you!!!

Lashes take some time getting use to; before you apply them, make sure the glue is tacky (I wait about 10-15 seconds)
I start out @ the outer edge where my natural lashes begin. As you press down & make sure they're securely on. I take the back of a tweezer & press gently. (Lashes should be placed on lash line, try to get as close as possible. At the beginining, try using a magnifying mirror so you can see exact placement.)

To remove them: I just take them off starting from the outer corner or try using baby oil on a q-tip.

oh dear fake lashes, i swear i can put them on other people with no problems, but when i put them on myself its just a bunch of craziness.
