Question for MAC SAs and MAs!

I got an invition to a Lingerie cocktail party of some sort at Montreal's pro store. What exactly happens at these things? Is it a launch party? I'm an editor who's working on a new mag, so I'm assuming this is the reason for the invite. I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth going to.

Anyone know what the deal is? Thanks! 8)

They usually serve goodies and introduce you to the collection. Sometimes they will give you a goodie bag. Tons of makeup fun!
