recommend Brown/Plum mascara for green eyes?

I usually go for this really bold black mascara look but sometimes I like to go more natural, with brown shadow/liner. Then my black mascara doesn't look quite as good lol. So I'm looking for a good brown mascara that still gives volume and definition but a slightly less harsh look than black.

I have green-ish gray eyes so I'm thinking maybe a plummy brown would be nice? I use Jordana Best Lash Extreme for black mascara and it's great, cheap and volumizes well, doesn't come in brown though lol. If I can find a product that's honestly a lot better than the cheaper drugstore brands I'm willing to pay for it.

So far I'm eyeing Benefit BadGal Plum, Almay Raisin Quartz (I think this one may be discontinued though), and Covergirl Volume Exact in Brown. Any thoughts on these or can you recommend some other products? thx.

I have Benefit Bad Gal in Plum, it's pretty I think. I had also the brown version, pretty too though the brush is much smaller. It's more to give length to your lashes, it's not at all for volume.
