Red She Said (as done by the MUA at MAC)

This is not my doing. I am not that talented, but working on it!!!! It was so nice she took pics of it with her phone and i took pics with my camera!

the MAC store at the Galleria in Houston had their Red She Said private event yesterday and today and I got to go and get my makeup up done! My MUA was this awesome girl - Madison - from Dallas who flew in for the event.

My flash makes me look all sorts of white skin toned which i'm not. and the lighting was horrible in the area they were doing makeup so i think the foundation color she chose is a little too light for me.

And i already washed my face

but i realize now i should have played more with the flash setting on my camera to take a better pic. oh well, now ill just have to practice to replicate the look!

Overall I was very please as evidence by my $150+ haul!!!
I love the way she did my eyes and I learned new tips on blush application which I desperately needed!

She used the following:

FACE
Fix + sprayed all over my face before doing the foundation
Studio Fix foundation - color unknown
Mineralize in Medium Deep as bronzer
Studio Fix powder on my T-zone (though now that I see the pics upclose, omg my pores look ginormous by my cheeks!!!)
and unknown concealer

BLUSH
Stark Naked & Enough Said from the Red She Said collection

EYES:
Bare Study paint pot as primer
Threesome Mineralize from the Red She Said collection
Blacktrack fluidline
The purpley color from the Intriguing Scarlet 6-shadow compact
Unknown highlight eyeshadow
#3 eyelashes

LIPS
Red She Said lipstick
with an unknown lipgloss

I ended up buying "Threesome" along with the 187, 116 and 239 and 2 15-palettes

Yea, I was just gonna say the MUA chose the wrong foundation colour, but other wise you look awesome!

OH, wow, my Maddy did this? Tiny little thing, darkish hair, with septum ring? I remember her from the Clinique days, you look great!

yeah! that same MUA - she was great! i cant fault her for the foundation as the lighting was REALLY bad. they set up shop on the lower level of the mall (not in the mac store where its like super bright) but i am so pleased with my look. i didnt plan on buying "threesome" but after seeing how she did the makeup and seeing that i probably could replicate it (though with not as awesome blending) i decided to get it!
