I never bothered buying shadesticks before, but I think all of that is about to change. On a mini haul at my local MAC store this past Saturday, I picked up, among other things, Red Velvet and Lemon Chiffon, figuring I could find some use for them. Best. Impulse. Buy. Ever. Red Velvet, the only one I've tried so far, goes on so smooth, and really brings out the color of my pink shadows. I used colors that don't often get a lot of love from me, and I'm pleased with the way it came out. After seeing someone's FOTD yesterday incorporating Plum Dressing (I don't remember who it was, sorry!), I figured it was time to dust it off.
So here's my look today. Seems there's always some caveat when I post a look, and today is no different. I blinked before my mascara dried! So you can see dots of black on my shadow. But at least this time I remembered the mascara.
All MAC today. I also listed the brushes I used, in case I want to recreate the look and can't remember the tools! On with the show ...
