Reeeeeeed Lips- Suggestions?

I'm NW20 ish, and I'm looking for a red lip... I have just rescently ventured into bolder lips, so I'm still pretty soft.

I have a small face, and pretty full lips, so sometimes color on my lips can take over my whole face. Oh, and my eyes are a pretty vibrant, darker green, and I have dark brown hair.

Would I be better off to go with a gloss, like the Viva Glam Cindi? Or lipstick? My MAC store is always crazy busy, and I always have so much on my agenda I never seem to make it to the red lipsticks...

That and I'm scared. hehe.

viva glam cyndi is more of a reddy coral than straight up red

but it is stunning. and for a straight up retro red i love ruby woo lipstick

Totally agree with both! Ruby Woo is my favorite MAC Red and I think it would look great on NW20. Russian Red too

Another non-MAC suggestion for a lovely red ls is YSL Opium Red. Out of the many reds I have, I this is the most wearable and I think it would look fantastic on all skintones. If you get a chance give it a try

I love Ruby Woo! And let me say how jealous I am that you have vibrant green eyes. That's going to look awesome with red lips!
