Replacement for Black Tied??

I freaking HATE this shadow.... but its the only frosted black that MAC currently has. What I am REALLY wishing for is a VP version or a SF version of black

I dont have Suspicion or Nighttrain, and I'm not convinced that either of them will what i'm looking for anyway, I want something softer and easier to work with. I have Carbon, which is ok I guess, but I want a frosted black, one that will preferably fit into my palette, but not a requirement. Anyone got some recs for me please?? ANY brand is fine so long as its ~

1) black

2) frost not matte
3) reliable and soft to work with - I just hate Black Tied texture

Smoking from the smoking eyes quad is good. It's a velvet though so if you have that quad you could try that?

I had that colour and wasnt impressed really

I traded it off eventually...LOL! My NARS Night Clubbing was far superior to Smoking from that quad, my Night Clubbing is unfortunately gone though

I'm thinking I might have to get another...

Ulta Galaxy Eyeshadow is amazing. I think it's WAY better than MAC Black Tied.

I totally feel your pain, Black Tied broke my heart. The texture is a big let-down. And Carbon is ok i guess. Not perfect. I am not in love with the matte texture. I want a black Veluxe Pearl.

Maybe MAC will hear our cries and answer us soon

Black Cat from Stila is super pretty...a little too big to fit in a palette, though.
