Hi, I often wear my hair in rolls and other pin-up styles (or with bettie bangs, like I have at the moment) but I can't post a tutorial right now as my digital camera is no more

But I found these sites quite useful when I was looking for inspiration on the net. Just thought they might help a little, Some of it is fiddly but hey, it's worth a go! The more you practice these styles, the better you get at them

Thank you so much!

Those sites are awesome! I just tried to do the "Rolls" on the tutorials page at pompsnpincurls, but my bangs are still too short for that.

If your grandma is still around, ask her to show you. That's how I learned. Also, 1940's Hairstyles by Daniela Turudich is a great book to have on hand when trying new styles. It takes years of time and practice to get it perfect, so don't get frusterated! I'll post a tutorial.
