I was wondering what happenes to returns/exchanges at MAC. They do not re-sale them do they? But if they don't, it's a huge waste of money.

They dont re sell the returns they go back to the factory with all the B2M's to get the packageing recycled.
For safety and hygenic purposes they cant re sell them even though a package could look like it hasnt been touched somebody could have possibly tampered with it.
Since i dont work for mac im not shure if the employees get to take them home or not but im shure someone here could answer that.

Returns and exchanges are sent back to be destroyed. Once they leave the store, they become a health and liability risk. Employees can't take them home (not that you'd want to - yuck).
