Colorqueen- I didn't swatch all of them on my hand- just soft lust. I also unfortunately didn't pay too much attention to swatching moonbathe but I can say from what I saw was that they looked similar in the tube.

Anyone know how Quick Frost compares to:
White Gold, Frost, Vanilla?

And how Revved Up compares to:
Rose, Pinked Mauve, Accent Red?

There are swatches comparing Quick Frost to White Gold in the Swatch Request Forum. They look really really similar to me. And I was wondering how Accent Red and Revved Up compare myself. They also look similar, but Accent Red looks to have more color, and is a bit more mauve-red. Revved Up reminds me a bit of Cranberry (from the swatches).

FWIW Comparing Pinked MAuve to all of the photos and swatches that I have seen, I think that Revved Up is more rosy pink. Accent red is more purple and darker too.

Someone said that it is more like Rose without the gold shimmer. I would say that if you take Rose without the shimmer and mix it with Pinked Mauve you would be pretty close to Revvved up.

As for Quick Frost- most people have said that it looks like just white- very very sheer - hard to see on skin. The swatches seem to support that. Quite frankly, it looks to me like a slightly less shiny version of Frost ground up really fine.

If you do a pic search on MUA someone did a comparison photo between Revved Up and Apricot Pink as well. Very helpful.

I've seen a couple people say that Gold Mode is Goldenaire without the pink, and swatches so far seem to support that. I didn't order Gold Mode, though.. Only Cocomotion, Mauvement and Off The Radar looked unique to me, and I got Rushmetal for good measure :p

I really like this collection. All of the piggies look fantastic from what I've seen from the swatches! I really can't wait to get all of mine. I definitely will be getting all 8 piggies.

I was able to play with the collections tonight when I went to Nordstoms. They were taking preorders for Rushmetal and Flashtronic along with Novel Twist. Here are my thoughts (thoughts on Flashtronic are in the Flashtronic thread):

RUSHMETAL:

Quick Frost - a very pretty sheer white with green undertones. Similar to my fav, White Gold, just much finer and a tiny bit more sheer. I ordered this one.

Revved Up - This was not as dark as I thought it would be. I was prepared for a dupe of Pinked Mauve or Accent Red, but this is lighter, and quite metallic. I didn't do a direct comparison, but it looks to be a tiny bit lighter than Rose pigment, without the gold, and it has a very smooth texture I think it would make a great blush or lipgloss, so I ordered this one. It looked really pretty next to Lovestone too!

Gold Mode - I wasn't planning on getting this one, but I did! It is a very true metallic gold. Seemed different enough from other MAC pigments for me to buy a full jar. It is so pretty!

Off the Radar - This was one I was VERY excited about, but when I saw it, I passed. I love the powdery texture of this one (like Pastorale, Emerald Green, etc.) It was very warm on me, almost a "terracotta" orange on me. It didn't have much sparkle at all. I MUCH prefer Firespot e/s. I am not big into oranges on myself anyway, so the more I thought about it, I wouldn't get that much use out of it anyway. I passed.

Mauvement - This was a plummy taupe shade on me. I loved the purple tone, but it had the potential to be a "bruisy" color on me, so I skipped it. I might get a sample to try though.

Cocomotion - I am still on the fence about this one. It is a dirty gold, as described, but has quite a bit of green undertone (at least on me). I passed on it for now, but may get it when I go back to pick up my order. I want to take my sample of Old Gold to see how they compare.

Copperized - Looked very similar to Golden Olive. This one is pretty metallic too. Very pretty but I passed because I don't wear that shade of green enough to warrant a full jar.

Rushmetal - Looks to be an identical dupe of Copper Sparkle. This is the most chunky of the pigments, but seemed to be a bit less chunky than Copper Sparkle. This is most metallic of all the pigments. I passed on this one too, as I have Copper Sparkle already.

Soft Lust l/s - This looks very gold in the tube, and I was so excited to try it but disappointed that it looked only like clear gloss on me when I tried it on.

Frenzy l/s - Didn't play with this one too much as it is part of the permanent line.

The other lipsticks, I didn't pay too much attention to. My MA was raving about the Rosy Copper one. It looked very pretty on her, but it was not something I would wear.

Sorry to be so long winded! Hope that helps some of you!

I really like Thrills l/s so I'm going to B2M for it next time I go. This time I only got samples of Mauvement, Cocomotion, and Goldmode. I like Goldmode of all, but I think the colors of the pigments are pretty, except for the white one which is really sheer. I might get a full jar of Goldmode and samples of Off the Radar, Rushmetal, and Copperized.

this is weird... everyone keeps saying that golden olive and copperized look alike, but they look very different to me. the green in golden olive is quite bright and copperized is darker and i would describe it as a golden brown with strong olive undertone. i swatched sumpuous olive beside it too, even compare to sumpuous olive, copperized has more brown and less green.

also, i could not see any green in quick frost. i can kinda see these multi-colored sparkles that reflects mostly green. very faint though... i would not have noticed it at all if i was not looking for green

exactly. because of the gold particles in copperized, it has its own shade completely different from golden olive.

and quick frost is very sheer (almost like a wash of white) that subtlely reflects yellow and green.
