The camera doesn't do everything. I always take my pictures near a window. Natural ambient daylight will give you the most natural-looking pictures. To show off the make-up I often use the macro setting and I set all individual parameters such as white balance, exposure compensation, aperture… on the program mode. No flash, no direct sunlight. Hope it helps.
