Shades of Pink

Can someone recommend a shade of pink eyeshadow to try that doesn't look pastey. My skintone shade is a little darker than cafe au lait and most of the pink eyeshadows I try make me look like a corpse.

I have been on the hunt for a very long time now.

L'oreal HIP has an eyeshadow duo called Adventurous, which includes a very slightly pinkish pearly pale neutral and a bright satin mid-tone pink. I like to create a soft look with the pair, using the neutral on the entire lid and accenting the outer lid, outer corner, and some of the crease with the pink.
