I've tried posting this FOTN since Christmas...but I'm shy so I kept changing my mind . There's so many talented MUA's out there! Quite intimidating!
Anyway, I just got back into makeup last month...after a 5 year hiatus! I was très into makeup back in high school (I was a dancer/theater person.` hee.), but senior year I was challenged to a "no-makeup-for-a-month" bet. After the month ended, I nearly quit makeup all together!
Though I continued to be a beauty/fashion fan, that month-long makeup break made me lazy. Then after hs, the whole hippie college kid thing hit me & I adopted a "natural is best" attitude. Everyone seemed to think people who wore makeup everyday were just trying too hard to impress.
But I've finally moved on. Just because I like to play with makeup doesn't make me shallow or vain! It makes me an ARTIST like the rest of you lovelies.
I'm so glad I found Specktra (thanks mama jill!)...I'm learning a lot, & though I'm pretty rusty, I think I'm getting back into the hang of things. So please be gentle! This is my very first FOTD!
