Am I the only one this doesn't work on? Everyone raves about how it's great for Asian eyes especially, and it doesn't "fit" me at all. It only gets the middle lashes.

Its supposed to be great cause it fits many eye shapes..I havent heard anything about asian eyes specifically. I use it and it works for me, so Im not sure what to suggest. Maybe try macs or try to find one at sephora?

I had high hopes for it, but guess I'm one of the few it doesn't fit. Several Asian girls have said that they love this curler because it fits, whereas many other curlers don't.

"Traditional" curlers don't work for me. I'm considering buying an open-ended one like the Sephora heated curler, or the mini Vincent Longo curler - http://www.sephora.com/browse/produc...go ryId=C8620

I actually have the Sephora heated curler! I love mine. When I bought it, it was only 12 bucks but i think its more now. Anyway, I love it, though it does seem to eat AAA batteries like there's no tomorrow. Rechargeable batteries would be good for this cuz all those batteries add up over time! I'll try and post a pic of what my lashes look like after I curl them with this. They're the curliest theyve ever been! I also have the Shu as well, and I like it when i'm in a real quick hurry but it doesnt compare to my heated one. HTH!

Just fyi, japonesque makes an open heated lash curler thats pretty awesome. there's no crimping or pulling and its straight so it fits all shapes
