how do u like Forgery e/s? i have it but it's so hard to use it no matter how much, what brush, etc. i want to use it as much as the other color.

Forgery is pretty! It does have some fallout, and a good deal of silver sparkle, which is why I chose to use it for a look like this - I was going for a sparkled silvered smokey look, so it suits it for this, I think.

I use a small, firmly packed brush to apply it - it helps with the placement and the fallout. I use the LM eye colour brush at lot - it's firmly packed and gives a lot of control. Also, spraying a bit of Fix+ on the brush first also helps the colour "cling" to the brush.

Oooh so pretty! A perfect smokey silvery eye! Can you tell us how you used the smokey eyes palette to achieve this look? I've got using the brown side of it and carbon down, but am having trouble finding looks to do with the two silvery colours. I'd love to do something like this for the holidays!

Sure - here's the basic placement that I did from the palette - I used all shades except Dark Devotion:

Apply eyeshadow base of your choice (for this look I used MAC Untitled Paint)

Apply Gorgeous on inner 1/3 of eyelid, up through crease.

Apply Ambiance on out 2/3 of eyelid, up through crease, and blend into Gorgeous. Additionally, apply Ambiance under lower lashine.

Apply Satin Taupe lightly in the crease, blending into Gorgeous and Ambiance, and smudge lightly under lower lashline, over Ambiance.

Apply Carbon next to upper and lower lashlines, and in the very outer corners of lid, to create smokiness and depth.

Apply Scant as a highlight under brow.

I also used Forgery (not in the palette) to add a sparkled silver dimension to the look, as follows:

Apply Forgery (or other sparkled light silver) on "ball" of eyelid, and trace inner eye corners and edges of the entire eye design to add "halo" of sparkling silver.

Finally, I used the UD pencil on upper/lower lashlines and the waterline.

Hope this is clear, and thanks for asking.

Thanks everyone - I really appreciate the kind words. Yeah, it's the last one for a while, I think. Maybe in a few weeks I will feel differently and be ready to post again.
