Sketch question

Hey! I wore sketch today, hoping to do a burgundy smokey eye, but it looked totally purple! Does anyone else find that it turns purple on them? (I'm pale and cool toned) Does anyone have any recs for products to use under sketch to keep it burgundy, or other e/s recs for burgundy? i'd be grateful for any suggestions, O wise ones!

Ummm....What if you used a paint under it? Perhaps Deep Shadow? I have Sketch and Intoxicate and I always get them confused because they are similar but do have different tones. One is more of a purple and one is more burgundy. Perhaps Sketch is the more purple one. Maybe Shadowy Lady might work as well.
