So this is my first post here, but I've posted on livejournal before. Anyhow, I usually do brights, but have been wanting to do a warm smokey brown and but everything tends to turn muddy on me. So here is my first experiment!!

FACE: Philosophy "The Present", Everyday Minerals "Golden Beige", MAC Golden Refined Bronzer
CHEEKS: Stila CC Lillium, Nars Exhibit A Powder Blush, MAC Northern Lights MSF, & Nars e/s duo in Mediterinee (the gold color)
EYES: MAC paint pot in Indianwood; MAC e/s: Saddle, Beautyburst, Carbon, Amazon; MAC pigment: Off the Radar, Provence, Dazzleray; WNW Liquid e/l; Milani Black e/l; MF 2000 Calorie Mascara; UD 24/7 eyeglide in Lucky.
LIPS: MAC Apex 3-D l/g

Of course, it was smokier IRL (that's Carbon in the outer corners) - I still need to figure out how to get the best pics with my cam!!

That looks so great with your brown eyes. And, I love your brows. Nice Job.
I also like your purple look, hope to see more colorful looks from you.

BTW, you remind me of Jackee Harry the actress.

Really pretty! Sometimes it helps to take pictures upclose with the Macro setting on your cam (the little tulip/flower looking thing) or also ISO setting without flash

There is a REALLY great tutorial right here:

addressing how to take better shots with your camera. I know it definitely helped me when I wanted to get better shots for FOTD pics.

I love the colorful look, but I'm always a sucker for bronze/brown colors on the eyes

Thanks for that info - I'll have to see if I can find some new info there. I use the Macro setting , but I think it's more my flash and I don't have a lot of control with it

But maybe there's something there that will help.)

Thanks everyone for your comments!!
