I used the smokey eye palette today! I'm not normally one for black but I think it came out ok?

Criticism and suggestions very welcome!

That's gorgeous!
It reminds of christmas for some reason..lol
maybe use a more muted nude lip color if you're gonna go bold with the eyes?

I agree with the nude lipstick suggestion - it doesn't have to be totally nude, maybe a pastel pink shade instead of something so bright and glossy?

Also, what are you using to apply your blush? I don't mean to sound harsh but could it be that it's a bit blotchy? Did you put some of the blush onto your nosebridge as well and on your chin? I see like a square or blush constellation on the face which looks a bit funny. I would suggest using the 187 brush to apply the blush lightly onto your cheekbones, and blend it out well. Also, your skin has reddish undertones, maybe try to balance it out with a foundation or concealer in some areas.

Other than that good job, and I'm sure your looks will only improve over time.

Thanks for the suggestions and help MissChievous! It means alot coming from you as I stalk your posts and get ideas from the looks you post!

The blush is actually a stain I don't wear powder blushes all that much. That could be why it appears blotchy? It was applied to my chin and a bit to the bridge of my nose.

I don't think I have much of a red undertone to my skin it's more a very dull color when I don't apply foundation and stain. It could be the stain that makes me appear very "pink"!

Any suggestions for a powder blush? I have the new Desirous which I love because it gives me that same "just out of the cold" look as a stain does...
