So men really like us without makeup!

I think guys don't mind makeup, obviously they like us to look attractive, but it may be that they don't like too much of it - super bright or shimmery, that kind of thing.

Even Angelina Jolie has to wear makeup to look like Angelina Jolie, and she is the only person that can look like her with or without makeup. But that may just be me.

I like to wear makeup because it allows me to be creative and not be set to some kind of standard that some people are not allowed to wear makeup (I am a guy just in case you are wondering). If my mom cannot stop me from wearing makeup, no one can stop me.

I enjoy my makeup... my boyfriend yells at me to stop spending money on MAC... he thinks its a phase... little does he know =)

I don't always wear a full face, but a little goes along way. Part of why I don't wear that full face is because I want to look stunning on the nights we go out.

I think what most men mean when they don't like seeing woman in makeup is that they like to see woman who look good without makeup. unrealistic though it may be, I think that's what they actually mean. That said, I think most men are far more apt to think a looks good without woman then the actual woman will, or her fellow women.

My fave guy likes it when I have the no-makeup look, but he also compliments me when I do a look that he likes.

I think he doesn't discourage my obsession because he understands that he has things that he is crazy about.

Plus, he loves how good I look when we go out, I clean up really well!

I do think that guys don't mind me not wearing anything, but most of the time what they want is the "no-makeup" look that you girls mention. Either that or just a perfect girl to start with

Most of the time, if I wear a light foundation, concealer, bit of blush, light eyeshadow and mascara, and I specifically ask a guy if I'm wearing makeup, he goes "hmm i don't think so...but you're pretty without it". I also used to have a boyfriend that i never wore makeup around, so once I wore mascara and blush, and he spent all night telling me how beautiful i was. I honestly think most guys don't realise we're wearing makeup unless its a smoky eye or red lips.

Was talking to a guy friend about makeup, and he was like, "makeup is evil." Because it tricks men into thinking unattractive women are pretty.

Then again... When I go to a bar, the friends I have who literally wear no makeup, aren't the ones getting the attention lol...

I agree... my boyfriend was really upset on prom night because our big group of friends spent the night at a friends house and he had to see girls in the morning without make up... since so many of them did the "natural look" in high school he was like "i had no idea everyone wore makeup!" ... lucky me i only wore it for events... so he was use to seeing me completey undefined.. like a blob form.
