Some MAC questions for the experts?

I have now filled 3 pallettes:
1. neutral, bronze, gold
2. Teals, greens, blues and silvers
3. Purples and plums

These are the only ONLY colours I didnt get which were recommended to me, complete with my logic for not getting them:
silver ring (thought it was a bit dark and didnt know how to use it)
silver thorn (same as above, so I got phloof and electra instead)
electric eel (too bright, but I got freshwater and dark truth)
jewel blue (couldnt see it in the shop)
sushi flower (but I got passionate)
humid (I thought perhaps I could combine swimming with moss green instead)
aquavert (swiped a bit too blue)
shimmermoss (but I got steamy and plumage)
Constructivist - (can't think how to use it, and I adore my delft for a dark pp
Rubinesque - (same as above)
Vanilla pigment - (couldnt work out how to use it, but I got the teal one

Any thoughts, further recommendations?

Ohh...vanilla pigment is a must in my opinion!! It's a beautiful highlight for the eye (def. the one I use the most) and highlight for the cheeks.

i might be easier for us to make suggestions if you list all the colours you have. I know you have 3 palettes worth, but i bet you'll get a lot more responses.

vanilla pigment is amazing - you can use it as a light eye wash, a brow highlight, a cheek highlight, and even mixed with some clear gloss...i would definitely recommend getting it, i've had mine for two years and use it all the time and i've barely made a dent in the jar.

If you didn't like Vanilla you might like Pink Opal instead, it is white as well but it has a really pretty pink sheen to it. Golden Olive pigment is a bright green that you may like. I think that you need to get carbon too, it is a must! All in all you seem to have any eyeshadow that I think you would ever need!
