I think it's very nice!
I know what you mean about the whole foundation matching thing...
I ended up buying two foundations because I don't like to put something that's too light on my forehead, but I don't want to put something too dark on my inner face. This way I can mix them accordingly with my brush then apply directly.

Yeah, I like this match better. I have the same issue. I don't think too much mixing is needed for ya...You could try either getting a foundation one shade darker and put just a drop on the forehead and blend it into the lighter areas, or skip the foundation in the hairline and just powder the perimeter with a darker powder or bronzer. Otherwise you are just too adorable
