Dazzleray. The texture of Jardin Aires is better, as Dazzleray ends up all over my face.

Is Petalpoint blush close to anything? It looks kind of cool (very cool in colouring) in some pictures.

princess in this foto you can see petalpoint on my cheeks (not very cool)

it's a pink blush with a beautiful purple shimmer
on poppyz it looks more lilac
it depends on which brush you use (I use a powder brush coz I dislike to have too much blush), the quantity on your cheeks, and your skin.

I reckon I'm gonna be in big trouble with this collection. It's gorgeous. I managed to pick up a few postcards for my collection!

I happen to like this collection quite a bit!

I'm going to need:
  • Jardin Aires Pigment
  • Petalpoint Blush
  • Fleurry Blush
  • Strange Hybrid Lipstick
  • Propogate Lipstick
Does anyone think that Jardin Aires will be a lot like tan pigment? Then I wont need it. Which might not be too bad of a thing for my wallet....

I work for MAC in the uk, and we have jut had our triaining on the new collections, they are so exciting and im well looking forward to working with them and selling them, he he he he. The mixture of texture and colour is very pretty. Strange hybrid reminds me of a hybrid collection between culturebloom and Madame B, welllllllllllllllllllllll niceeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xxxx Love from london. x

Sooo I REALLLY wanted to love Jardin Aires!! I finally got some in the mail today and I have to say I totally don't and I'm kinda happy I was able to get this much and def won't be springing for a whole jar. :/

When I opened it, the color immediately made me think of a slightly peachier/less reddish version of Goldenaire. I absolutely hate the texture of this pigment. Where goldenaire goes on very smooth this pigment is very chunky and gets all over (think Rose pigment but worse). On my NW20 skin its a light peach sheen with some gold/copperish reflects. When I tried to swatch it, it ended up all over my hand/fingers as it didnt just blend onto the skin it kinda flaked off/went all over. Maybe it would be work better wet or with some mixing medium which I'll have to try later. Either way.. heres some swatches/pics

My MAC MA showed me the collection today. Here's what I have to report:

Well, the blushes are okay. They work with the eye and lip colors. Just a light basic peachy one and a light, basic pink one. There is supposed to be a coral tone to it, but I only saw pink. They reminded me of the Barbie Beauty Powders.

There wasn't much to say about the lip stuff except for Flowerplay, lipstick, which was a midtone, bright pink with silver shimmer (and maybe a touch coraly? Is that a word?) and it's mate in gloss, Prize Petal lipglass, which was a coraly pink tone. Both looked totally wearable and more pink than coral.

There was a nudish lipstick (Propogate) and gloss (Prize Petal) that looked okay. They leaned towards peachy nude. There was also a tannish-nude e/s named Seedling. Nothing to get too excited about, but a good basic, I would think.

The e/s were okay. The only shade that caught my eye was the dark, shimmery blue one, Moonflower. That looked lovely and I don't normally do blues.

Provence pigment is in fact, being repromoted. There will also be one called Jardin Aires, which is like Tan, but lighter. It is absolutely lovely! It looked to be finely milled, not chunky. I'm sure it will be a big seller.

There are supposed to be purple shades in this collection and either they didn't register with me as I glanced at the collection, or they were not included. I probably just glanced over them. I was so distracted by the pinky coral lip items.

That's about all I remember from the glance I got. Hope this helped someone!
