Sunbasque blush

Are their any fans of this? I thought it would look lovely as all the other colours in the blush range looked too flat but it made me have orange cheeks!! I guess it might be better for people who aren't already a tanned colour naturally?

This is my HG every day blush

But I am extremely fair w/ yellow undertones and red hair .. so on me it works... and a little goes a very long way.

I'd super pale, auburn hair, warmish skin, green eyes.. I love the way this one looks on me. I agree a little goes a long way though..

I like it a lot - I'm also really pale, with freckles and reddish hair (dyed, though), and it gives a nice golden look. On me it looks better than any bronzer I've tried.

Lordy all of these red-heads who like this!!! I am also a red-head and I am super lemming this right now. Sounds like I do need it!

this should be a staple in everyones collection, im a nc35 studio fix and use it on practically every skin tone, its light to dark depending on method of application and how much.

Hmm i don't know what went wrong for me then, maybe it's just something that doesn't suit me or a colour i just personally don't like. It did look very pretty in the pan though. Maybe it was because the SAs gave me a hug blusher brush to try it with and i always use a small blusher brush as i know a small concentration of colour looks better on me than a big area of blush, also i found it hard to work lightly with the brush and may have put too much on.
Will test it out again some time, meanwhile an SA put Blushbaby on me today (pretty randomly might i add! lol) and although it looks so light in the pan for my colouring/taste, it looked nice and rosy on my cheeks and the kind of colour i like..but yet again she applied it very heavily (hate it when they do that!) which made it hard for me to decide wether i really like it or not when there's soo much of it concentrated on my cheeks! That's why i usually like applying things myself at Mac, my face can look garish really easily if application isn't light and controlled.

Hey! Wanted to bump this instead of starting a new thread, I'm having issues with Sunbasque looking like dirty bronzer on my cheeks! I'm an NC40-42 and thought I'd love it. Any tips on how to make it work? IDK if I should just return it.

What blush brush do you use with it?

I use the 116 to apply all of my blushes. I find this one gives more control.

Thanks, I use the 129. I'm not sure if it's the color or if it's the way I'm applying it. So many with my skintone rec it as a fav! I don't get it lol.

io use the 129 brush to apply and that gets a nice amount of product on the brush to work with.

It doesn't look orange on me at all.

I'm NC25 (NC30 in the summer) and I LOVE Sunbasque blush. I use it all year round and apply it with the 129 brush.

I love it in summer when I am NC 30 (NW 20 in winter) applied with a 129 brush

Hmm, maybe you could try layering it on over/under another blush that you like? If it looks dirty it might just be the wrong color for you...Layering could change that.
