Over the years I've worked at and attended various Renaissance Festivals and worked as extra help at a Halloween/Costume shop during Halloween one year.
So, here is a collection of various Fantasy/Macabre inspired looks from several years ago.
Unfortunately, since these were several years ago, I can't recall everything I'm wearing, but I'll give it my best.
Halloween 2003:
My Gizmo, dressed up for Halloween:
I was wearing various Mehron and cheap Halloween face paints.
-Black and red e/s with Fardel white/blue(duochrome) glitter over my lids.
-Black lipstick
-N.Y.C. black e/l
-fake blood
-black mascara
Forest Elf 'look' 2003 or 2004:
I'm not sure what I was wearing here for the foundation...probably Cover Girl cream foundation...or the Simply Powder...can't recall which.
-Maybelline 'Expert Eyes' "White Celadon" e/s (all over highlight on face)
-brown Mary Kay e/s as contour on cheeks (yes, it was intentionally made to look dark like that)
-dk. green face paint across the eyes with a layer of some shimmery green liquid e/s from Wet'n'Wild, over top.
-metallic forest green fluid make-up from Fardel as e/s and e/l, the green dots, and lipstick.
-Prosthetic "Poison Ivy" brow pieces and costume Elf ears...I think I picked these up from Spencer's...but these aren't the Woochie brand.
-N.Y.C. black e/l pencil on waterline.
-black mascara
"Winter Faery Queen" 'look', this is my younger sister, I did her makeup for a photoshoot where she was modeling a costume, wings, and mask that I had made.
-all over coating of shimmery white all-over powder from RUSH's "Shimmer Shakers"
-shimmery blue highlighting using Glamour Tek's "Rah Rah" e/s (dupe for Milani's "Moonlight" and MAC's "Vellum")
-some dark blue e/s as the contouring in her cheeks and e/s in her crease
-Maybelline silver e/s
-NATURISTICS "Chrome" liquid e/l
-Navy blue or black mascara tipped with "Crystal Tip" mascara by Rimmel
-silver pencil e/l
-Lips: "Blue Mood" #915 by L'Oreal...added some of the Glamour Tek "Rah Rah" e/s over top to lighten it.
-snow: fake spray on snow for Christmas trees.....not a bright move, but it worked. ;D
-photoshopped here eyes from hazel to blue.
My "Purple Look" 2004 or 2005:
-I'm pretty sure I was using NYX's "Purple" e/s for the stripe and lipstick.
-Maybelline silver e/s
-NATURISTICS "Chrome" liquid e/l (for the dots)
-mystery dark blue e/s
-N.Y.C. black pencil e/l
-Black mascara
-Fardel theatrical white/blue glitter (duochrome)
EDIT: Quick edition.... 2004
-NYX "Purple" e/s
-dark blue liquid e/l for the designs
-glitter
-N.Y.C. black pencil e/l
-Purple Caboodle lipstick
-dusting of white shimmer powder from RUSH
-Last photo was photoshopped for the glow.
And my latest: A Fairy at the King Richard's Ren. Faire in MA. Sept. '08:
*This photo was taken closer to the end of the day.
-foundation: Cover Girl 'Simply Powder' (pressed)
-Physician's Formula concealer stick
-NYX "Purple" e/s
-maybe, Jane Eye Zing "Grape Vine" e/s
-Wet'n'Wild purple pencil e/l
-liquid purple e/l from Hot Topics.
-Halloween false lashes
-Black mascara
-GLAMOUR TEK "Rah Rah" e/s for shimmery highlights
-Fardel white/blue duochrome fine glitter (theatrical)
...I had lipstick on at one point, but I don't recall what it looked like.
So, what'cha think?
