In another thread, some of us were discussing how we're the only ones into makeup and such in our families. That's definitely who I am in my family, but my other family members don't HATE makeup. I just dawned on me today that the reason hardly any of them don't bother with much other than a lipstick and eyeliner is because they are very dark, and trying to find a suitable foundation is close to impossible, especially when you don't know where to look, and don't care *that* much about finding it. Most of the women in my family are dark skinned... I'm talking Alek Wek dark.
Luckily, we've mostly been fortunate enough to have smooth, even toned skin so that foundations aren't necessary, but as an NW 45/47, I *can* find bases that suit me in most brands, when I want to wear something. Just curious as to what brands and shades are out there that I can share with the darker ladies in my fam. Thanks!
