Tim Burton's Mrs Lovett (or at least...an attempt).

I went to a fancy dress party last night, and the theme was 'films', so I decided to go as Mrs Lovett from Sweeny Todd.

After looking at pictures from the film, I decided to go for a grotty, half dead, dirty look. Attractive.

So...here is my attempt:

And please excuse the weird sex face on this one, I was trying to show the cheeks and the necklace!

And this was my outfit:

I realise my boobs are practically under my chin, and you can see my bra, but the literally wouldn't fit into my corset! Boooo.

Oh man... I LOVE this! (I just watched Sweeny Todd last week, actually.)

Your hair is a bit too vibrant for the dreariness of that film (which I am sure you know)..but I think you still pulled off the look spectacularly.

Haha, yeah, it is a bit too bright. I put talcum powder in the roots, to make it more muted, and it did work, but for some reason, my hair always shows up really bright in pictures! Heh.

Yeah, looking at pictures from the party (where I look God-awful, hah) I kind of wish I'd defined my eyes a bit more, but at the time, I was going for more a hollowed dirty look, as opposed to smokey, if that makes sense?
I totally agree with you though.

Hah, I haven't got Fleshpot lipstick. The name really made me go 'URGH' (srsly, the most disgusting name ever. Urgh), and I'm not really a fan of skin coloured lips anyway. Haha.

This is a great look...love the movie. I do agree with dancer thugh...some dingy black-brownish smokey eye work would have been great. But I totally get the feel from what you've done.
