Tips for creating the perfect cat~eye with MAC's 266

Do you have any? I'm so used to using liquid liner with a brush tip for winged liner rather then an angled brush like the 266 + shadow. I really love the look of lining my eyes with shadow rather then liquid though, but I'm having issues with doing cat eyes! Any advice would be great!

Also I have a 266se, should I go for a regular 266 or have you noticed no big difference between the two? I really do love this brush!
