haha I don't mind at all. I am from Puerto Rico and we do have indian roots from the Taino Indians so some people in Puerto Rico have my type of look and complexion ;-)

Thanks for the good wishes guys!.. I did go and the 2 places I went were not hiring at the moment so.. I still have like 4 more MACS to go so I am hopeful that I can get a job.. ;-)

I did not just becasue the reality is that I do not have experience working in a counter and doing peoples make up, color matching ect.. the experience I have is basically the practicing Ive been doing for a year on myself and yes I've done make up on other people but not a lot, just a few friends.. so I was like if I apply to that, they are going to be expecting that I know a lot of..?? what do you think? I actually went to your counter, talked to the manager but she told me they were not hiring at the moment..she said I could apply anyways, but they could not find an application and since I did not have a resume with the me she told me to come back another day..

At the other counter I did leave a resume and I filled an application..

Okay, I see what you are saying. Well, keep filling out applications & try to get in more experience doing friends/family's make-up so you get more comfortable with it. You never know when a position might open up ; )
