Too soon to De-Pot?

I didn't know where to put this but I am expecting a 15 pan palette soon and I wanted to try and de-pot my e/s now but I am wondering if it is too soon? I don't know when the damn thing is supposed to get here but I really want to try my hand at this. Can e/s dry out if they're not covered up? LOL I'm a nerd that needs some help!

I'd wait, if I were you. I think the original casing is always more secure than the depotted version.

Make sure you got the little magnetic strips if your pan isn't magnetized on the bottom.
