Two Colors and Trying to Blend Well FOTD

Question is can you tell that I used two colors!

Lucky Charms Shadow Duo by Two Faced

Yeah you can tell, the colors are a bit shimmery so its kinda hard see it. great job though

yup - I can see two colors! You're doing a good job - just keep trying and using several different colors will get so much easier. I ahd the hardest time combining colors at first and now it's the simplest thing for me. There is diagram of an eye somewhere on this site - I think in the FAQ's section adn it shows the different parts of you eyelid and where colors should go. It really helped me a lot in learning where to place colors and how to come up with different combos. Hope that helps!

This really helped me a lot! Once you get the different eye areas straig, pick a few colors and attempt to put them in different places and blend. What I generally do is pick one color for the lid, one for the crease and one for the browbone. Then I usually picka darker color for the outer V and line with that one as well. I use the same browbone highlight for the inner v.

Wow this is fantastic help! Thanks Shavwi! I've been keeping to a lighter shade on my lid and a darker on my crease! I want to venture out further with a few more colors and this really helps! Thanks so much!

Determining where the outter V of the eye is was a bit of a challenge for me! But this is really a good picture for deciding that!
