Virginia (Williamsburg-Virginia Beach)

Hey guys,

I am new to specktra and new to Virginia. I am looking for friends/shopping buddies here in the Williamsburg-Virginia Beach area. My boyfriend and I just moved here from Seattle, WA so I am far-far away from home.

I would love to go outlet shopping at Williamsburg (CCO and Bare Escentuals outlet) along with hitting the Freestanding Sephora in either Richmond or Virginia Beach.

I would avoid the freestanding Sephora in Richmond -- it's microscopic compared to the one in Va beach. I'm always up for a trip to that one, just let me know when/if you are interested in going.

I won't be heading up toward the outlets for a month or two, but next time I head up that way I'd be more than happy to meet up with you. It's always more fun to shop with someone

I'm surprised that you think that the Sephora in Richmond is smaller. I noticed that the mall is smaller but I thought the Sephora was bigger. They still seem small to the ones in Seattle, which makes me sad.

I have lived in Virginia for 3-4 weeks now and I've been to the sephora in Newport News and Virginia Beach. and I've been to the CCO twice now. I found my closest mac counter and picked a couple things up from the Mac me over collection, which i'm happy about.


Kawaiiamaimi - Do you follow mac launches? Are you picking up anything from the posh paradise collection? Whats your favorite brands?

I would love to go shopping with you!!

Haha, maybe it's the way it set up. It does feel much smaller and I avoid it at all costs, lol.

I do follow MAC launches I've gotten Half Wild and I want Pure Creation (if I can find it). I'm now I'm waiting as patiently as possible for Fall color. I really want at least one of the quads, show orchid, and potentially lightscapade. I'm trying to decide if I need more from it or not, lol.

My favorite brands tend to be Laura Mercier, Too Faced, Tarte, and of course MAC. I've recently gotten into things from Tarte. I ended up picking up the Tarte for True Blood palette the last time I was in Sephora. I'm kinda in love.

Let me know the next time you're heading to Williamsburg. I haven't been to the CCO since March so I really want to go and check out what they've gotten in.

I got half wild and genuine treasure paint pots and I got legendary and delectable mattene lipsticks. I went to the mac inside Macy's over where I live and they had all the paint pots besides genuine treasure. If you want I can pick the paint pot up for you if you cant find it.

Fall color collection I will probably get the angel flame quad and lightscapade MSF. Maybe fleshpot lippie and possibly feline kohl. When I think of fall, I usually dont think of very bright lips or eyes. I usually dye my hair darker/deeper (burgandy or dark chocolate hair) and dark lips (deep reds) during the fall.

I bought the true blood palette and almost immediately returned it. I was really excited about it but all the colors looked the same on me (the green, purple navy, glittery black and the matte black. I absolutely love the silver in the palette though.

If you want, we can go check out the outlets next week. I know its close to the fall color collection, but if your interested, we can go. Do you have a facebook?

Oh really? I checked my Nordies so far and they are sold out. I should check the Macy's here to see if I can get it. If not I'll let you know.

I'm the same way about fall. The collection was more aptly named when it was Mac x Cindy. We at least understood why there was bright colors then. The only reason I plan on picking up show orchid is because I've wanted it for forever. I've just never gotten around to getting it since it's pro only.

That's sad about the true blood palette. I tend to pick up bright and unique colors in single eyeshadows so I've been lacking neutrals. In all honesty, I was going to get the Naked palette but they were sold out. It was right before my birthday and I had money burning a hole in my pocket, so true blood it was. I'm really loving the matte brown color. It's nothing special really, but it's pretty all the same. Btw if I figure out a way to pry out the silver color from my palette, you can have it. I have 3 silver shadows I never reach for so it'll be the very last color remaining. Did you happen to pick up the Surf the Ocean stack from surf baby? It had a really intense silver in it that's very similar.

Let me check my work schedule and see when I'm off. I'm off all of this week for vacation, so I'm not sure how many days next week I'll have time. I do have facebook. Amber Tatem is my name. I have two accounts however. The one with my picture on here is my main one so add me there.
