What are your makeup must-haves for travel??

If I'm going to the beach, it would be a msf natural, love nectar l/g, golden bronzer, concealer, and lash blast/badgal waterproof.
When I went to Vegas a few weeks ago, I brought 2 palettes (one brights and one smokey), GAT l/s, hug me l/s, blacktrack, liquid foundation plus the above. Oh and brushes. Sounds like a lot but for a town like Vegas I had to pack heavy (or at least thats my excuse, lol).

Honestly, I had a favorite and LE MAC blush crumble due to traveling with it (It was a MAC Barbie beauty powder), so since then, I leave my faves at home, and take drugstore stuff with me (at least when it comes to powder products that can shatter). I have a Physicians Formula eye palette (palettes are your friend for traveling) and a Jane blush I tote along with me. Since I don't have to worry about lip stuff being ruined, I don't mind taking my favorite MAC stuff with me, though I pack light so I usually just choose one color scheme to work with the whole trip (depending on what season it is), and pack one lipglass and one lipstick.
For foundation stuff, I just pack my usual. And I also shove in Rosebud Salve for the plane, blotting papers (even though planes are dry, I somehow still get oily on them) and blotting powder in a compact.

on the plane/to-go includes:
- a facial moisturizer (cuz it gets super dry with the recycled/recirculated air)
- fluidline
- a multitasker... i.e. cream color base that can be applied for lips, eyes, and cheeks
- lip balm... tinted if you want to be fancy
- body/hand lotion (a salve like the rosebud salve can solve combine this with lip balm)
- hand sanitizer
- facial wet cloths
for your luggage if you want to go overseas, I reccommend...
- e/s quads (1 basic/neutral and 1 color/for going out) because they're so much easier to carry around
- 1 neutral l/s and 1 color l/s
- 1 clear gloss/sheer dazzleglass if you want that extra oomph
... and whatever else you fill as a necessity

when i fly out, i bring the essentials, brushes, eyelash curler, mascara foundation, powder/msf, some eyeshadows, fave lipstick and lipgloss.
when i'm on the go, just my blot powder, lipstick, and lipgloss.
but when i flew out to vegas, i brought 90% of my makeup. lol.

1 quad (usually phloof!, soft brown, freshwater, knight divine)
217, 224, 242
Sonia Kashuk bent eyeliner brush
cheapo eyebrow brush
Blacktrack f/l
a single blush (usually NARS outlaw, MAC Intenso or Eversun)
A sample jar of Vanilla pigment for highlighting
Mascara (Maybelline XXL)
Shiseido eyelash curler
2 pairs falsies
BB cream with SPF (I don't use foundation)
Prep and Prime Transparent Finishing Powder
Sonia Kashuk Hidden Agenda Concealer Palette
cheapo eyebrow pencil (I'm using one from H & M now)

It depends on where I go, but most of the time I don't bring much. I have a little cargo travel palette that has e/s, blush, powder and bronzer in it and then I will bring a few lippies and that's it.
All my skincare and other misc items I just pour into little travel jars.
My rule is if I would be heartbroken if it broke or was stolen by a maid... I don't bring it.
I tend to not wear much makeup when I am traveling anyways.

2-3 HIP Shadow Duos (all MAC shadows have been depotted and I would be PISSED if my palettes were broken or stolen)
