What is mixing medium used for exactly?

I really have no clue how to use mixing medium I baught it just because my sis in law did ( that was stupid) and ive just had it in my makeup case, never used it once. Can anyone give me any good ideas on how to use it? Oh by the way its waterbased...

You can use the Mixing Medium for pigments that are eye safe and eyeshadows if you want to make the colors look more vibrant. You can also use it for other loose powder eyeshadows as well.
