What to do in Toronto?

I'll be in Toronto for about a day and a half later this month, and I'm look for recs for things that I HAVE to do/see/eat/buy in Toronto, lest I regret not having done so for the rest of my life

I know absolutely nothing of the city, though, so whatever you got, throw it my way

besides visiting a MAC store in the town that started it all??

if it's a clear day, go up the CN Tower - if you're not afraid of heights - sometimes you can see right across Lake Ontario to Niagara Falls.

shopping is good on Queen Street West and Bloor Street West - but $$$$$$!!!

maybe someone else can help more - i haven't lived there in 9 years.
