Hi guys,

so I have been in a little inspirational crisis. I'de really like to try some bright looks, but I just don't know where to start. In some of the FOTDs I've posted, it was recommended I try something more bold and colorful, so I'm hoping someone here has an idea. What would look good with my pale rosy complexion? I somehow have the feeling bright lipsticks are to overpowering for my face, but maybe I just haven't figured out the right color yet? Lemme know what you think. Here are links to some of my posted FOTDs, so you know what I look like:

I'm looking forward to a color-orgie

You have such beautiful dark brown eyes.
I'd start with purples. They are relatively easy to work with and make brown eyes pop. Like... Parfait Amour with Nocturnelle maybe?
Greens compliment brown eyes too.
You could go wild with bright golds too, Urban Decay makes an awesome bright gold in their deluxe collection, it's called Honey. My all time fav gold.

My eyes are very similar to yours and I wear brights often. I'm about NC20.. which I assume you are close to.

Just remember when you wear brights to tone down the lips, otherwise its overwhelming. I love the nude lip look.

Yay for purples =) I'll go and try something as soon as I can, and then I'll post it here. See what I come up with.
I'm a little iffy with gold, because cool colors work best for me. When I wear to warm colors I sometimes look sickly.

I was going through my stash and found this royal blue eyeliner-pencil. Any ideas what colors to combine it with? I have a really hard time figuring out combos -.-

Ok so I've at least started by swatching my bright colors. I also have several nude shades, such as brown, beige, black,... Since we didn't use to have a MAC counter anywhere near here I made most of these myself. This way maybe it will be easier to figure out combos. The ones that are not homemade are: MAC flashtrack (last of the blues and greens), MAC starviolet (very left on the last picture), Agnes B. 1115 bleu turquoise (between the electric blue and the green on right), Agnes B. 774 mauve nacré (light sparkly purple, outer left), MUFE #92 (matte vivid purple on right)
