Who says pale people can't do bold colours?! 3 FOTDs-2 green, 1 teal/purple.

It really gets on my nerves the way that some people say that pale people can't wear strong colours, as it's too much on their pale skin.
Dunno why people are so adamant to get us pale 'uns so frightened of colour!

Personally, I love strong colour on pale skin. The contrast is ace.

Anyhow, here are a couple of strong colours, just to prove that it doesn't look all bad! Bear in mind that I'm paler than NC15 as well. Haha.

Green number one:

Used
Eyes
UDPP
Lucky Jade s/s
Mono side of Fresh Green Mix mineralize e/s
With a twist e/s
Humid e/s
Chrome Yellow e/s
Nylon e/s
Minted eyeliner pencil
Clinique high definition mascara

Face
Studio Fix fluid NC15
Studio select sheer (or whatever the name is, I dunno) pressed powder, NW5
Touche Eclait
NARS Deep Throat blusher (very lightly)

Lips
Just a clear lipgloss I think...

^^^ With flash. Shows the true colour more though. My camera is RUBBISH at picking up greens I think.

Btw, let me explain where the Chrome Yellow comes in! I have real trouble with highlight colours when I do green eyeshadows. Not really sure why, but they always seem to look...muddy and too cold and chalky. So to warm it up, I lightly put some Chrome Yellow under my brow bone, then put Nylon on top of that.

It looked pretty wierd for the moment in between. Haha.

If anyone has any advice on how to sort out my little highlight problem when using greens, that'd be great.

Anyway, onwards to the next green. (Dunno why I did two in a row, I hate green e/s on me).

USED
Eyes
UDPP
Lucky Jade s/s
Humid e/s

Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner...I dunno the name, but it's a dark green.
Minted eyeliner pencil
Clinique High definition mascara

Face
Same as above

Lips
Dunno again. Eeeep. Just a clear gloss again I think. Or maybe just Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream...Hmmm.

Eeeep, majorly picture heavy, sorry about that.

But anyways, hope that proves that ghostly white people CAN wear strong colours!

Any CC is welcome, as always.

I use L'Oreal Feria Colour Boost permanant dye in the shade 'Pure Spice'.

It's always SO bright at first, and then it kind of goes to a reddy brown colour, like it is in most of those pictures. Well...I think it goes reddy brown anyway, other people still think it's very red! Hah, but whatever.

It's a decent colour to use actually. I dye my hair with it about once every 4-6 weeks, just to boost the colour.

They are all very pretty! I'm super pale too, and sometimes I'm hesitant to do super bold looks, but you are proof they can work!

The teal and purple look is STUNNING! amazing blending.. you have gorgeous eyes too

The only CC I would give you would be to possibly bring down the crease/darker color just a bit, like in the first and second looks..when you bring that color down, you can blend it out/up with a shade that's sort of in-between the crease and highlight (for example, in looks 1 and 2 I think something like vintage gold pgmt. would look amazing). That would also leave just a little more room for the highlight under your brow bone, and gives you a very smooth gradation of color.

I hope that helps in any way at all!

Ooh, is Vintage Gold pigment from the new Overrich collection? We haven't got that here yet, but I'll be checking it out on Thursday hopefully!

Thanks for the CC, I might try that when I get Vintage Gold, and see how it works out. It might solve my little highlight problem too! Thanks for that!

You pull off brights well (I don't buy that bit about pale people not doing bold colors!), but I imagine you'd look good in anything cause you're so gorgeous! You make me want to go red so badly.
