Why does blue shadow go green on me?

Can anyone help me get my blues to stay blue on my lids? I've been thinking of trying the NYX pencils for a base, but have yet to get my hands on them.

I would suggest using a base if the color seems different from pot to lid. I luckily have royal wink (fluidlines make great bases that don't crease on me) or you could try finding a blueish paint pot. Sea Me shadestick might also help. Or if you want a very dark blue try using a black base.
