Why is my NW select moisturecover so much darker than NW20 select cover-up?

is it normal for different products in the same shade to be different?

edit: sorry, mistake in the title. Both concealers I have are NW20, but the moisturecover is much darker.

I've noticed that as well. However, I've found if you powder over it, moisturecover lightens a bit.

If it's still too dark, wait until you have a bit of a tan in the summer.

Some of the concealers run light some run dark. None of MAC's foundations, powders or concealers are consistent from line to line. I wear a different shade in everything, from an N3 to an NC20.
