I'm unfamiliar with the size of new pigment jars. Is this real? And is it a full size/regular size, or smaller press sample size?

That looks like the size of the new pigment jars. They are now 4.5g instead of the 7g jars. MAC sample products are full sized products they are just marked as samples. Samples are given to people inside and outside of the company. Bloggers, makeup artists, press...any number of different people can receive MAC sample products. Hope this helps!

Thanks! They just seemed incredibly small to me; but then again it IS a lot smaller than they were before. I just realized when I received it that I hadn't really looked at the new size!

Yes unfortunately they are a lot smaller now for the same price! In fast even more $$ now as they did a price increase recently. But they do last a LONG time so that helps.

And there is no batch code on it--do press samples not have them?

Do you suppose it is fake?

Anybody else have an opinion? I was going to swap this but I don't want to if it seems too questionable!
