hey girls,
had my area manager interview for EL today, she says I aced the interview and is just trying to decide whether to place me in Liverpool John Lewis or Browns of Chester store. I am sooooo excited and can't wait for her confirmation call on Monday, so hope I got the BA job!
the manager alluded to the industry being really bitchy though and asked me how I'd handle it? in fact she's thinking of placing me in a different store that is less bitchy than the one I appiled for! now, I have a thick skin when comes to bitchiness (i'm an ex-model) but still it threw me a bit that she was so open about this aspect of counter work.
so am just asking for honest opinions on the indusrty in general and EL counters in particular. It won't put me off the job as its something I've always wanted to do but I am wanting to be prepared,
