working for nars

Does anyone know if you need to be a qualified make up artist to work with nars? I want to work at a counted in the uk

You're not going to be able ot walk in off the street & get a job with Nars. They are just as difficult as MAC to get hired (if not more so).

So yes, you need to have makeup experience (you probably don't need to be licensed or certified, but that depends on the location) and you need to have retail experience.

When i went to nars i only had a few months retail experience and none of that at a mu counter

Only some independant freelancing. They send you to a 2 day training seminar. you go to another seminar for every season too. THey hired me as an SA, than they made me MUA, now I'm counter manager. =)
